Ms. Bornn is an Association of Workplace Investigators Certificate Holder (AWI-CH). As an AWI-CH, she is imminently qualified to conduct workplace investigations. Since 2009, she has conducted numerous independent investigations into workplace claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, whistle blowing, breach of contract, insubordination, theft, embezzlement, workplace violence and other personnel issues.
Ms. Bornn is one of the founding members of the board of directors and is a sustaining member of the Association of Workplace Investigators, Inc. (AWI). AWI focuses on investigations as a distinct profession. Its goal is to promote and enhance the quality of impartial workplace investigations. AWI currently (2020) has over 1,000 members both nationally and internationally, consisting of attorneys, private investigators, and HR personnel.
Ms. Bornn has been a speaker at many of the AWI Annual Conferences, and has been and continues to be a faculty member at the AWI Institute. As of January 1, 2020, Ms. Bornn’s workplace investigator fees are $500/hour, plus expenses. A $5,000.00 advanced retainer is due prior to the rendition of her services.
